2009 ParkerFest



The Parker Downtown Development Council (DDC) and Innovative Artists are joining together throughout the months of the 2009 Parkerfest.

Art a la Carte: Artists are offered a 10’ x 10’ space to display and sell art from Friday – Sunday of the following weekends.
May 15, 16, 17 —– June 19, 20, 21—- September 18, 19, 20

This is a juried show.  All artists, please submit a burned CD with 3 images of your work, or 3 - 4×6 photos,  a self addressed stamped envelope,  along with your application and $50.00 fee (Payable to DDC) per participating weekend to:

All artists not juried will receive their application fee back.  CDs and/or pictures will not be returned.  Artists will be contacted within 2 weeks of receiving applications informing of acceptance status.

Exhibit rules:
1.    Manufactured and imported work or any work not made by the exhibitor will not be allowed in the fine art area, but information will be forwarded to the craft/fine craft manager for Parkerfest.
2.    All tents must be managed at all times.
3.    Giclee prints and prints are accepted but must be identified as such in both the application and on the body of work.
4.    2-D and 3-D art is welcome.  Artists are responsible for providing all tools and equipment, including hanging devices for your tent.
5.    Artists are personally responsible for handling all sales and reporting all sales tax.
6.    Sharing a booth is allowed but must be on application as a request. 
7.    Juried-in artists will be accepted on a first come – first served basis.  Any other artists who wish may be on a waiting list.
8.    Police security will be present throughout the weekend

Tents must be set up in assigned 10 x 10 booth space no later than the Friday of participating weekend , 3:00 p.m. – and must remain up until Sunday of that weekend, 3:00 p.m.
